How to get there by plane
The plane is the fastest way to reach Calabria, especially for those coming from distant locations or from abroad, with two main airport options available.
Lamezia Terme Airport
The International Airport of Lamezia Terme is undoubtedly the most convenient and practical choice to reach the Torre Ruffa Robinson Village, being about 65 km away from the hotel. This modern airport, the main one in Calabria, is served by numerous national and international airlines that offer direct connections with the main Italian and European cities, ensuring optimal accessibility throughout the year with a frequency of flights particularly intensified during the summer season to meet the growing tourist demand.
Once you land in Lamezia Terme, you have several options to reach the village: you can rent a car directly from one of the many car rental services in the airport terminal, thus allowing you to freely explore the region during your stay; alternatively, you can opt for a taxi (with an approximate rate of about € 70-90 for the ride) or, a particularly convenient solution, take advantage of the transfer services by reservation offered directly by the Robinson Village, which organizes private transfers from the airport to the structure with advance reservation by contacting the reception.
Reggio Calabria Airport
Reggio Calabria Airport is a valid alternative, albeit more distant, particularly useful for those who find advantageous connections to this destination. From this airport, located at the southern tip of Calabria, you can rent a car to drive along the scenic Tyrrhenian coast north to Ricadi, a journey that, although longer than the Lamezia Terme option, will allow you to admire some of the most spectacular coastal views in the region, with views ranging from Sicily to the Aeolian Islands on a clear day.
For those who prefer not to drive, there are public transport connections which, although with longer travel times, allow you to reach Tropea first and then the Robinson Village; Alternatively, even from this airport it is possible to request the transfer service organized by the hotel, a particularly recommended solution for those who want to maximize comfort during the trip.
Our private beach of sand and rocks, accessible directly from the village without crossing the road, is the beating heart of the structure and is the ideal place where the whole family can enjoy a relaxing holiday in Calabria . Parents can relax in the sun while the little ones spend hours of pure fun in Robin Land, our equipped playground, followed by qualified and attentive staff.
Since its foundation, the Torre Ruffa Robinson Village has put the sense and culture of Calabrian hospitality at your service to give you a special experience and holiday in a naturalistic context of rare beauty, where the clear sea and golden beaches alternate with breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets.
